AICP at the MoMA (NYC)
The AICP Awards event looked to the Mill Design Studio to conceptualize and create a unified branding system across motion, digital, and print for its three-day event at the MoMa. There needed to be the ability to differentiate and customize but still feel cohesive.
In order to achieve this as Lead Designer on this project, I created a flexible graphic design system to be used across the shows. We landed on bold yet balanced color and typography choices that lived in harmony with our use of implementing a style-transfer technique where intentional video sources were paired and synthed with hand-done, team-created artwork. The output culminated to a unique design that can be further customized and used across all AICP Shows touch points while maintaining a uniform look and feel.

Our team together in person, as well as at home created all different types of abstract art with the same intention - to bring that humanistic touch to our system. The idea of using machine learning - but remaining the arbiters of taste - felt like a good fit to showcase the talents and fresh work being judged.
